Alight's 5th annual fundraising banquet & auction, held on April 10, 2006, at Michael's Banquet House in Latham, was a great success!  Our keynote speaker was Rev. John Ensor, author, President of A Woman's Concern (a ministry of six pregnancy health centers in greater Boston, Massachusetts), and also currently on staff at Heartbeat International directing their new Urban Initiative, an effort dedicated to steering the Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) movement into the least served, most vulnerable neighborhoods of our nation's cities.  Rev. Ensor captivated us with  real-life stories of desperate people trying to find answers while motivating us to get involved, saying "it's our turn". 

A 15-minute "All About Alight" PowerPoint was shown.  It focuses on the Alight Care Center---a look inside the Center, a glimpse at client interaction, a look at our classrooms and Stork Room, a tour of the office, community involvement, our mission and services explained.   Our Executive Director is available to give a presentation for your church, business or small group.  If you are interested in seeing this PowerPoint presentation, please give the Alight office a call at (518) 270-5540.
