UPDATED 1/17/07:  The "Hat & Mitten" Tree Program helps local families stay warm.  Donated winter hats, mittens, and gloves were given out to 102 children (infants through teens) and over two dozen adults from the Troy, New York, area this past Holiday Season.  This special program has been very successful for the past seven years, and Alight & friends will plan to bless the community again in December 2007.

Alight's "Hat & Mitten" Tree program is available to Alight Clients and Walk-ins throughout the month of December during office hours.   Minimal ID required.  Individuals, churches and businesses have donated new hats and mittens for needy families in the community.  Parents are welcome to pick out a hat & mittens/gloves for each child in their care (infants through teens)  until our supply runs out.   We welcome donations through December 15th (2006).
