Alight Care Center is affilliated with Heartbeat International, an interdenominational Christian association of life-affirming pregnancy resource centers, medical clinics, maternity homes and nonprofit adoption agencies that seek to create an environment where every human heart is cherished and protected – within the womb and within strong families.

Alight's covering organization, Arise & Build Community Ministries, was incorporated in September 1998.   Assuming the name of Alight Care Center For Women, our doors were opened to the public in February 1999.   We are now known simply as the Alight Care Center.  February 2007 marks our eight-year anniversary of serving the community.
