From decades of heartfelt Christian Service in his community, far reaching experience and an international speaking ministry, Pastor Charlie Sweet has a relevant world viewpoint to share with us.

Pastor Charlie serves as the Executive Director of Compassion Coalition, Inc. and Your Bargain Grocer since 2000. He serves as an Elder/CFO of Redeemer Church in Utica, where he has been a member for over 27 years. Compassion Coalition Inc., also located in Utica, New York, is a 35,000 square foot warehouse that houses food, personal care goods, furniture, diapers and paper products that are distributed to over 125-member agencies in Utica, Rome and the Mohawk Valley as well as around NYS.

With years of hands-on ministry service, Pastor Charlie brings a true sense of awareness and reality to the goal of making a difference in a local community. His heart is to witness Gospel truth through acts of kindness, service and street level ministry to the downtrodden. For those reasons, his ministry and life experience are well -suited to encourage anyone interested in supporting the vision and mission of Alight Care Center.

Charlie sits on several Church Boards as well as local Boards within his Community. Charlie and his wife Sharon live in Utica, New York and have four married children Jason, Jeremy, Jordan and Justina. They currently have eight grandchildren and one on the way.
